Pickering, home of the North York Moors Steam Railway, ---- I took a day trip by bus from York,24 miles. People call Thornton-le-dale ,the prettiest village in Yorkshire. It does look pretty although it's a shame it's on a main road

We missed one. So sad. It's beautiful. We spent a week in Pickering and did visit the Beck Isle Museum. It was fascinating.

Such a gorgeous area. Your photos are lovely.
